the best holidays I've had

 I could say that the best vacation I ever had was in Argentina, Bariloche. I remember at that time I was around 15 years old (2014), we went with my family in February of that same year. As at that time we lived in the north, we were very passionate about the idea of going by car to be able to visit the forested towns of southern Chile before crossing the border, and as you can imagine it took us quite a while (a week to get there). When we finally arrived in Bariloche, we stayed for a whole week, and taking advantage of the low dollar and the Argentinean peso, we were able to stay in the best hotel in town and visit restaurants that offered delicious food on their menus. The first day we went to an ice rink to skate, and then we went to a chocolate store and bought all kinds of flavors and colors. The other days we strolled through the streets, watched street artists play tango and drank mate with my brothers next to a cathedral. Anyway, more than anything I consider it the best vacation because besides having many luxuries due to the low dollar, I shared with my brothers and we laughed a lot, ate chocolate all day and then we went to the cathedral square to climb trees and do stupid things.

    Bariloche it's the best places in the world, the lake is awesome, the ice creams shops and chocolate too hehe

A country i would like to visit

 Personally, when I think of places to travel I think of the history and revolutionary experience of a country rather than sightseeing in places with paradisiacal landscapes. For the same reason, one of my dreams in life is to travel to Nicaragua, more than anything else because of the history that took place in that country with respect to the Sandinista revolution. The first time I heard about Nicaragua was when I was in high school and I read about Ernesto Cardenal's liberation theology. Then I researched about the FSLN, and their revolutionary experience. It is a very interesting country because it has been able to resist for a long time both the North American invasion and later dictatorships.  Anyway, if I go to nicaragua I would like to visit relevant historical sites such as the city of leon or managua, besides getting to know closely the local people and their culture. Free Topic: The trumpet, my favorite instrument.

 Playing this instrument relaxes me a lot so I do it at least once a day without fail. I usually do it in my room or in the dining room of my house, if we were in normal times I think I would be playing in some square in a band that I plan to form. The fact of playing trumpet I think it helps me to express what I can't say in words, the vibration makes my body to be in harmony with the outside. I could say that it is a therapy in times of pandemic, if I feel very anxious I distract myself from the studies improvising some happy or sad song depending on how I feel.  Something important I could mention, is that what inspired me to play this instrument was a song by chet baker called almost blue, which I listened to over and over again in my adolescence. Also miles davis was one of my references, with his rhythms and chaotic and innovative composition.

my english language challenges during this period.

What I have liked the most about this experience of learning English at the university is that through the blogs I can expand my vocabulary in this second language. Another remarkable thing is that it has also helped me to detach myself a little from my career and think about, for example, vacations or things I like to do, relieving my anxiety a little bit. One of the aspects that I would like to improve in my English skills is to develop more vocabulary related to my career: sociology. For this, I think that more than talking to people, it is to read famous newspapers and renowned magazines in the social sciences.  On the other hand, outside of English classes I practice my English by reading international news and social science magazines. I also do it by watching videos that explain music theory. In my hobbies when I'm a bit stressed, I read English lyrics of my favorite songs and do a mini karaoke.
